Argentina
Winery of PROMENDOZA
Domaine Le Billoud is an Argentinian family winery with roots dating back to 1820 in France and 1875 in Mendoza. The current winery was built in 1983 in Cruz de Piedra, Mendoza.
Today, Santiago Giraud Billoud, a sixth-generation winemaker, leads the project alongside his son, initiating the seventh generation of Domaine Le Billoud management.
The family began producing Oporto and Marsala wines in Mendoza under the brand Cantine Bertolino, which is now well known in the industry. Santiago revitalized Domaine Le Billoud with a focus on artisanal winemaking. These signature Oporto and Marsala wines are currently well positioned in the gastronomic market and the ice cream industry.
The winery also produces high-quality varietal wines, maintaining a French winemaking style while combining it with New World innovation across a wide range of labels.
Santiago leads the commercial expansion of the winery, bringing Domaine Le Billoud wines to markets across Argentina, the USA and Asia.
