For over a century, the Arizu family has been linked to winemaking. Many generations have dedicated their lives to working in the vineyards, transforming daily labor into a culture of wine. Our story begins with Leoncio Arizu in 1890, continues with Juanita Arizu and Vicente Vargas Videla, and continues today with Vicente, Daniel, and Rodolfo Vargas Arizu (third generation), who built Tierras Altas in 1999 to continue the family winemaking tradition. Today, part of the fourth generation of the family works on the project.
