Winery of PROMENDOZA
Casa de Uco is the result of Tonconogy`s family dream.
Alberto Tonconogy, the father of this family and famous architect, dreamed, designed and built Casa de Uco. Today, his son Juan Tonconogy is the President.
A great vision inspired by the exceptional natural resources of the Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina, where we honor the birthplace of the most awarded wines of our country.
Our main goal is producing authentic wines, a pure expression of our terroir, which shows the greatness and diversity of our land.
At Casa de Uco we work under sustainable procedures and we are certified organic since 2012.
Located in GI Los Chacayes, between the most prestigious sub appellations for quality grapes in Argentina, on the foothills of the Andes mountains.
GI Los Chacayes gathers a unique combination of soil, climate and altitude, which allow us to make exceptional quality wines with natural freshness, great aromatic expression, intense colors and marked acidity.
Our vineyards were planted in a unique place, under extreme conditions. Deep rocky soils from alluvial origin and 1280 meters of altitude above the sea level. Desertic climate with 300 sunny days average per year, and cool nights. All these factors resulted in natural low yields offered by the plants, very nice natural concentration and complexity.

Total Capacity: 250.000 Litres.
We work with the most advanced technology for quality winemaking.
We have different fermentation recipients, such as concrete vats, concrete eggs, stainless steel tanks, clay anforas, ceramic eggs, barrels and foudres. From those we get different expressions of wines.
